2.1 Let's celebrate 1.21 with 2.1 of TH, with many changes, toggleable stuff, cool reworks, bug fixes and a new sibling to the Healthbars "family": Compatible Healthbars, in alpha, just go look at it it's cool. The wither has been remade (look at the gallery), the ghast has been remade, the snow golem no longer glitches, we have the bogged and the breeze, more animated blood and armors can now crack, with these last 2 additions being toggleable with Respackopts
This should be a gif, just go look at the gallery
Also i remade the icon, i added new font images in the pack itself and fixed a long lasting bug that caused all damages to not show with a decimal ammount of HP. Also also the addons are now a toggle in the Respackopts menu, but because not many people use respackopts, the addons still remain in their downloadable state and just had an update.
Description of the pack
This resource pack changes the texture of all hostile and neutral (non-real) mobs based on their health, for a total of 274 new variants! More to come!
I made it because I think that seeing a bar above every mob doesn't look as good as its usefulness. Also this way you can know how many sword swings you need to kill your enemy without breaking the immersion.
Right now there are every hostile mob and all neutral non-real mobs that have a unique look based on health, not counting the 16 shulker variations; This pack will be updated for every next mob; as of now i'm making an addon for animals and villagers because some might prefer only monsters, but, hey, if you want to see a wandering trader bleed out, that's coming "soon" too.
Some mobs also have animated blood, look how cool it is
Another thing, new in 2.1, is a bit of usefulness in PvP, with cracking armor (if you don't like it, you can toggle it, as shown if you scroll a bit down)
Others
This project has a version that uses Fresh's Animations that has been fixed in the latest updates and works perfectly fine; found over here
Another version of this is Compatible Healthbars: it's still a work in progress and only some mobs are there, but as the name suggests this pack is compatible with ANY mob retexture, without the need to create an addon just for that, found over here
Also under the versions list there is a file with all the Addons from Green Bleed to Ills Kills, as suggested by The Great Magispeller and MorrisHD on Planet minecraft. These Packs are perfectly compatible both with TH and it's counterpart with Fresh's Animations, but the order in which these are put can change the way they work, so preferibly you should put them like this, where Green bleed just represtents an addon in general.
From 2.1, these addons are also integrated in the pack itself, and can be toggled using Respackopts, as well as some other fun things that you might not want It is also the only way for now to enable addons for Compatible Healthbars
Known Issues
-TH is incompatible with Epic Combat, that is the mod's fault i cannot do anything about it
-Mobs with modified base health change textures only when reaching the predetermined health needed for them to display damage (fixed in upcoming TH 2.2)
Planned
-Continue "Compatible Healthbars"
-Publish the Passive Aggressive addon (TH for passive mobs)
-Add the illusioner and the villager zombie (I FORGOT SORRY)
How about Bedrock Edition?
Luckly for you, a really cool dude called Akazq just ported the ENTIRE pack from java to bedrock, found over here
