Description
Best described by the images in the Gallery. All screenshots are taken with Complementary Reimagined r5.0.1.
Its a collection of small edits to vanilla textures simply to balance the colors, fit in where they're often seen, and be less generally taxing to look at. The edits tend to focus on highly saturated textures that are naturally generated or otherwise frequently seen in gameplay.
Other Edits
In addition to what's seen in the gallery, other edits:
- More subtle enchantment glint, white instead of purple
- Desaturated rain (gets overridden by shaders usually anyways)
- Whiter snow (removed blue tint)
- Crimson roots, the grass-like growth in Crimson Forests, now red instead of purple-ish.
- All material texture changes carry over to related signs, boats, items, tools, etc
- Zombies, Creepers, and Skeletons have desaturated textures
- White and black concretes are now a perfect white (255,255,255) and black (0,0,0)
Future Plans
I have other, more invasive, edits I make to my game that I've left out, overhauling textures or going in a totally different direction with them. I plan on releasing another texture pack with those and moving the prismarine and concrete changes to it, since they aren't simply making vanilla easier on the eyes like the other changes in this pack.
