Overview
The copper pot is a heat-efficient tool that creates recipes quicker, and sometimes in larger quantities. Cooking can be toggled with redstone signals.
Unlike the cooking pot of Farmer's Delight, the copper pot comes with no water in its recipes. Its specialty resides in making gooey substances like jellies, meringues, and more.
- Some of these foods are capable of extending certain active potion effects--give the recipes a whirl and see how they work for you.
- Seasonal agars are capable of extending several different effects, though they're relatively inert on their own. Try and see which ones benefit your playstyle the most!
- Other foods may have weirder impacts on gameplay, including a blowup getaway, a way to create creepies on command, intensifying effects, and more.
Certain acidic recipes can cause the copper in the pot to leach, creating gases inflicted with certain status effects to spread in the air while cooking. Not all of these effects may be negative, however.
- Leaching can be limited to a small column by placing fume inhibitors somewhere within the pot's vicinity.
Raw meringue blocks (do not question the logic by which these came to be) can be climbed in a singular jump, no matter how high the stack. Climbing speed can be boosted with additional levels of Speed/Jump Boost. Gleefully disregard the consequences of mucking about in raw egg slurry as you design your next obstacle course.
Config
You can alter the following:
- The radius in which the copper pot emits fumes. Between 0 and 5 blocks (2 by default).
- Whether cooking pot recipes with <4 slots show up automatically in the Copper Pot
- This causes items like fish stew and similarly soup-y dishes to potentially show up in the copper pot's repetoire. This is ideally enabled if a modpack changes the recipe to add water to the copper pot recipe (or generally wants more recipes for an otherwise niche tool).
Block Tags
- The tag
copperpot:fume_inhibitors
includes all blocks that can be placed within a radius of the pot in order to constrict its fumes.
Requires Farmer's Delight and Blueprint.
Big thanks to OnesAndZer0s for tackling the 1.20.1 port with reckless abandon!
