Welcome to my first ever semi-complicated datapack, called Third Time's the Charm!

To get started, you'll need to do some things.

You'll need to either use the mod in an existing survival world or server. To begin use the /reload command. You have to have operator permissions to do this. If this is a personal singleplayer world that you don't want cheats/commands on for, you can (1) open the pause menu, (2) select Open to LAN, (3) Make sure Commands is turned on, and (4) select Start LAN World. Run the command, and make sure the number three shows up in the player list. After this, you'll have three lives, and after those are up, you'll be set to Spectator mode. You will be stuck in spectator mode as long as you have less than 1 life. To reset EVERYONE'S lives, run the /reload command. Your lives will show up in the player list, and under your name. (for server use)

It uses custom death messages that tell other players how many lives you have left. The person who died gets their own death message.
