Mine Treasure v1.2 - The Progression Update Treasure System:
-
Reworked the treasure system's spawning mechanics as well as its performance. Treasures should now spawn more accurately as well as perform faster.
-
Every treasure now is weaker at the start. However, the more stone-related blocks you mine the better the treasures will get over time. This is to balance out the early game, preventing players getting items considered OP for the early game.
-
Treasures now have the own custom textures! No resource packs needed!
-
Treasures now despawn in cycles of 100s where they will always survive the 1st cycle so they despawn in 101-200 seconds.
Additions:
-
Added new spawn eggs to use on spawners. These are extremely rare and can only be unlocked after a certain amount of blocks are mined.
-
Added 3 new custom totems one can use in many different scenarios with additional effects and impactful death abilities.
-
Added new food types to compete with other normal Minecraft food items. There are several of these hidden within different treasures.
-
Added new custom weapons such as the Rumble Axe and the Laser Scope.
-
Added a new type of items: Runes, there are several different runes in multiple biomes. These may alter the game drastically to those who take advantage of them.
Meta-game changes:
- Nerfed Assassin's Blade Early Strikes from 5 seconds to 3 seconds.
- Nerfed Swamp Chestplate frequency from 25% to 15%.
- Nerfed Assassination Totem from 7.5% to 5% more damage
- Nerfed Dark Forest Chestplate's damage increase from 30 to 25% but removed the reduction of attack speed.
- Nerfed Ice Boots from 25% to 17.5% armor reduction values, but buffed chance from 10 to 20%
- Buffed Mountain Leggings by removing the - speed
- Buffed Dripstone Helmet from 50000 blocks mined to 25000
- Changed Soul Scythe's ability from 12.5% to 100% and 2 hearts to half a heart on the ability
- Ice Sword now deals 1 heart of true damage per hit
- Barbarian Axe deals 2 hearts of true damage with its ability
- End Boots ability deals 1 heart of true damage and can knock back the opponent
- Mushroom Boots now have a new ability
- Changed the ability of the Desert Chestplate to increased damage when on low health
- Stray Bow now has guaranteed Infinity.
- Nerfed Desolation Rocket's damage
- Nerfed Ultimate Splash potion's damage
- Nerfed Ultimate Potion's duration
- Buffed Rift Battle Axe HP reduction from 20 to 25%
- Changed Lush Cave leggings into dealing completely custom thorns damage more frequently, got rid of the vanilla thorns enchantment.
- And much more!
Performance:
-
Reworked the way checking for custom weapons/armor works. This is much lighter and should severely decrease performance when checking for these custom items and will be noticable on higher playercounts.
-
Reworked the way player loading works to ensure no server start-up lag can cause new players registering improperly, also reduces an additional check.
Notable Bug Fixes:
- Fixed the Dripstone Helmet not working correctly.
- Reworked Mushroom Boots as many reported them not working in certain circumstances.
- Fixed a bug where End Treasure would generate if they were loaded cohesively to overworld coordinates.
- Fixed a bug where Assassin's Blade would register the 75% damage all the time (spooky).
- Fixed some technical issues with how armor stands would rack up scoreboard data in scoreboard.dat.
- A trillion more bugs. And I mean a lot of them. Typos and random loot table bugs, everything, too many to list.
This is the biggest Mine Treasure update of all time!
Mine Treasure v1.16 Changelog
-
Fixed a bug where 3 or more players fighting with armor and weapons using the custom hit system would apply effects to all players instead of individually.
-
Fixed an error with the description of the Hurricane sword.
-
Made some performance improvements.
-
Fixed a crucial bug where Rare Swamp Treasure was Ocean.
-
Fixed a bug where Ice Boots had an incorrect stat in one of the randomized rolls.
Apparently there was an error in the extraction process when making 1.1.3 not saving properly, a consequence of this was that some biomes did not receive their proper names, resulting in their loot tables not working. This has now been fixed, sorry for all the updates recently. This will be the last update until 1.2 gets released, as a sole developer it is very easy that an oversight gets released, I will do more extensive testing when making future versions.
Some changes:
After a while I have decided to merge both versions of Mine Treasure into one to make it less confusing.
Fixed a crucial bug with custom biomes. Mine Treasure now supports custom biomes again. Though it defaults to the Default Treasure loot table. Biome tags will be released in 1.19.4 or 1.20.
