Changelog
Lots and lots of revamped models & textures
Believe me, @Azzy outdid herself with this one. There have been improvements all over the place, with new models for Pigment Pedestal, Enchanter, the Colored Trees, lots of equipment and so much more. Special thanks to @Noaan for getting the new Bedrock Armor model implemented code-wise and @Jas for doing all the color variations. On that note: You can find the old textures activating the "Programmer Art" texture packs. Even there has been some work. @Jenny77 made some programmer art, that looks kinda nice, actually. Check it out!
Energy System
At the start of midgame, the player now unlocks the Color Picker, which is able to convert Pigment to Ink. Ink comes in all 16 Colors and can be stored in a range of items to power your equipment. For example, Ink can be used to power the Nature's/Radiance Staff, additionally to Sparklestone/Vegetal.
Most of the Trinkets will be changed to require Ink, but this will come later, until existing players had the chance to catch up with this update and get their hands on some Ink. Currently the use of Ink is still pretty sparse, but a lot is in the works. Note: With "Ink" resembling a fluid, it very much behaves like one when transferring.
The Paintbrush
A new tool for your arsenal as an Ink Artist. Your main working tool will gradually unlock more and more abilities as you progress. For now, aspiring artists are able to color blocks in-world using Pigment and fling colored projectiles around. I added a few tricks to make flinging your Ink extra satisfying, of course <3 Crouch-Use to bring up the color selection.
This toolset will gradually improved upon as the magic and spell building system get's added. You can also hit your Pigment Pedestal with it to start crafting, as an alternative for Redstone. (it still seems to react to redstone)
Boostable Trinkets
These aren't your mundane trinkets. They will get more powerful the more Ink you pump into them. This includes a new Trinket Slot: Gloves!
The Cinderhearth
An Ink-powered blast furnace that can be enhanced with upgrades to smelt blazingly fast, double smelting output, grant lots of XP or consume less Ink. It only comes with 2 positions slots. Which ones will you choose?
For modpack makers: The Cinderhearth recipe type supports more than one output per input, including chance based output.
