What is this mod?

This mod improves the gameplay experience with wolves, converting them from fragile house decorations into engaging and interactive adventuring companions while keeping the vanilla feel. A key feature is the ability for tamed wolves to be revived after death. This alleviates the fear of losing them permanently and encourages you to take them on your exploration adventures instead of leaving them sitting at home.

If your tamed wolf meets an unfortunate end, they will drop their collar into your inventory. This collar can be right-clicked to revive the wolf at your current location, adding a new level of safety and strategy to managing your wolf companions ✰

Other Features

In addition to respawnability, this mod includes several other quality of life wolf enhancements.

• To tame a wolf, you must use an Ancient Bone, a rare drop from skeletons. This adds a new level of challenge to help balance the faux immortality of your future companion.
• Ancient Bones can be crafted into Ancient Bone Meal, which is stronger than vanilla Bone Meal
• Once tamed, your wolf is immune to friendly fire, ensuring that you can adventure and fight mobs without fear of accidentally harming them.
• Tamed wolves now have slightly increased health, movement speed, and attack damage.
• Tamed wolves stay closer to you while following you.
• Custom names on your wolf now render in gold and are always visible
• You can sneak + right click your wolf to interact with them and give them attention, they love it.
• Your tamed wolves can interact with the world and other nearby tamed wolves.
• If you take your wolf adventuring with you, they can dug up items as they explore, and drop them at your feet.
• You can use an Ancient Bone on your wolf for a surprise :)
• Your wolf will periodically update you on their actions, in the game chat.
• If other players interact with your wolf, you will be notified, letting you know who is taking care of your pet.
• Other players cannot use your wolf's collar, which helps prevent griefing.
