- All root advancements now have description text coloured light gray.
- Added all of the new blocks and items to “All the Blocks!”, “All the Items!”, “Stack all the Blocks!” and “Stack all the Items!”
- Added to the description of “Oresome”, “Stack all the Blocks!” and “Stack all the Items!” exactly which blocks and items you do not need to collect a stack of. These blocks and items have also been removed entirely from the advancements.
- Added Cherry Logs to “Getting Wood” and “A Good Start” as well as their respective rewards.
- Added Cherry Wood and Crimson and Warped Hyphae to “Barking Mad”.

- The “Renewable Energy”, “The Lie” and “Boned” advancements now use the recipe_crafted trigger.
- “Controlled Detonation” now uses the #minecraft:creeper_igniters item tag.
- Created the “#blazeandcave:hostile_monsters” entity tag which is now used by “Monster Hunter”, “Indiana Jones” and “The High Road”.
- “Dive Bomb”, “Marine Marauder”, “Stayin’ Frosty” and “I’m in Lava With You” now check for flowing water/lava in addition to source water/lava.
- Updated “Engineer” and “Master Engineer” to now require the blocks and items which are now included in the ‘Redstone’ tab of the Creative inventory from its 1.19.4 upgrade.
- Slightly adjusted “Oh, look, it dings!” so that it now triggers if the bell’s position is in a villager rather than if the player’s position is in a village.
- “Setting up the mood” now works on both candles and candle cakes.
- Fixed “Take Aim” not triggering if you use spectral arrows.
- Fixed “A Good Start” being contained in “Advancement Legend” twice. This had no effect on gameplay as the same criteria name was used.
- Fixed “Farlander” counting towards the Advancements Scoreboard even though it is a hidden advancement.
- Changed the json for msg files where the tab name is written in the hoverEvent tooltip so that translations will be able to change the ordering of the words if their language requires it.
- Refused to change “Serious Dedication”.
Moved Advancements
- Moved some Statistics advancements to a second column in the tab to reduce the tab’s vertical size. Every task and goal statistics advancement will become visible once the Statistics root is unlocked regardless of which column it is placed on.
- Split up the six every-type-of-wooden-item advancements that come after “Professor Birch” into two branches, with one branch having “The Jungler”, “Bamboozled” and “Mangrove Master”, and the other having “The Acacia King”, “Professor Dark Oak” and “Cherry Bomb”.
- Moved “Torched” such that it comes after “Your Door Was Locked”.
- Moved “It’s a Sign!” such that it comes after “Your Door Was Locked”.
- Moved “Barrel Rider” such that it comes after “Stationary Storage”.
- Moved “Colors of the Wind” such that it comes after “Sign Off”.
- Moved “Mannequin” such that it comes after “Smooth, dude!”.
- Swapped around “A Masterpiece!” and “Help! I’ve been framed!”.
- Moved “No Banner, Only Color!” such that it comes after “Prepare to meet your Loom!”

- Overhauled the ordering of the horse and donkey-related advancements, mostly to ensure the donkey-related advancements become visible sooner.
- Moved “Redemption Arc” such that it comes after “Riot Shield”.
- Moved “It’s So Beast-Like!” such that it comes after “Sound the Alarm!”.
- Moved “All chained up” such that it comes after “Knowledge is Power”.
- Moved “Vibe Check” and all advancements that come after it to the Redstone tab.

- Added armor trims to the trophies of “Master Gold Miner”, “Demolitions Expert”, “Master Miner”, “I’m in Space!”, “Ad Astra”, “Biological Warfare”, “The Perfect Run” and “Advancement Legend”.
- Changed the Claptrap trophy item to a player head instead of a piston, preventing players from getting the “Moving Parts” advancement too early.
- Changed the trophy item for “Animals Milestone” from a Raw Porkchop to Raw Beef.
- Changed the trophy item for “Zork Chop” from a Raw Porkchop to a Poisonous Potato.
Configuration
- Simplified the welcome message, and reworked it into two kinds.
- The first kind appears only for the first player who joins the world. It provides a thank-you for choosing to download and play the advancements pack, and contains a note informing them of the config menu.
- The second kind is more general.
- Both messages contain a Discord link.
- The list of patrons has been moved from the welcome message to the description of the root advancement in the “BlazeandCave’s Advancements” tab.
- Added a message that appears whenever loading the datapack, which informs players that this is an alpha build and reminding them of its nature. There is a beta build message as well, but it will go unused until beta builds begin. Both messages will be disabled on release versions of the datapack.
- Added a /trigger command that allows you to see custom statistics added and tracked by the advancements pack.
- At the moment, this includes: Days played, food items consumed, loot chests opened and gold bartered to Piglins.
- Advancements that relate to custom statistics now display the /trigger command in their description.
- Fixed some of the text in the bac_apple_a_day trigger command not being translatable.
- The global_install function can now be triggered from the config menu.
