Talents
Talentium introduces 13 new talents to the game. Talentium tries to change the way Minecraft is played by buffing several under-played aspects of the game. This could either be through obscure mechanics or simply an under-used feature. Many of the talents will try to add viability to pre-existing game mechanics that have been considered a gimmick or simply unviable in any regards to combat or resourcefulness.
🌾 Agriculture
Mechanic: Increased crop drops with unique items. Gain more drops from breaking crops, with special items such as Ender Beetroot, Hasty Carrot and Magic Potato. Drops scale with level.
🪓 Axes
Mechanic: Armor-negation and attack damage bonus. Enhances axes with a chance to reduce armor on hit and increases damage as you level up.
🛡 Blocking
Mechanic: Counter-attack and armor bonus.
Receive counter-attack charges on hit and gain armor when a shield is in your offhand.
🧪 Brewing
Mechanic: Potion changes and Brewing Stand speed. Potions gain longer durations, becomes stackable, and faster brewing at higher levels.
🌍 Excavation
Mechanic: Shovel-based and Brush-based. Digging now yields treasures at higher levels and brushing may yield treasures in suspicious sand and gravel.
🎣 Fishing
Mechanic: Biome-based fishing, unqiue fish and increased amount of fishing. Unlocks higher chances for treasure and unique fish, especially in specific biomes.
🔥 Magic
Mechanic: Late-game spellcasting. Adds 10 powerful spells for combat, defense and utility. Use Spell Tomes to imbue spells with a spellbook. Spellbooks can be found in Stronghold libraries.
🏹 Marksmanship
Mechanic: Viability to Bows, Crossbows and Tridents.
Boosts damage for Bows, Crossbows, and Tridents. Bows gain pierce, Tridents gain AoE damage on land, and Crossbows gain a X% chance to bypass 25% of Armor.
⛏ Mining
Mechanic: Mining Speed and more ore drops. Increases mining speed and ore drops.
🔨 Smithing
Mechanic: All material becomes smith-able.
Grants random bonuses to armor, tools, and weapons crafted at the Smithing Table when using a Smithing Enhancer of with the same material as the item.
👤 Sneak
Mechanic: Stealth and first-hit advantage. Turns player invisible after sneaking for a short time, with bonus damage on first attack after exiting sneak as long as the opponent is unaware.
🗡 Swords
Mechanic: Bleed damage and attack damage bonus.
Swords gain abilities to remove Regeneration from opponents and inflict damage over time, with extra attack power at higher levels.
🐺 Taming
Mechanic: Wolves gain combat enhancements and Horses gain speed enhancements.
Wolves become stronger, faster, and can deal more damage. Horses become faster and more mobile. At higher levels, there’s also a chance for twin offspring.
Technical Setup
Custom mod items can be registered in Talentium’s tags. Example: to register a new sword item, add its id todata/ttm/tags/items/swords.json

Level Adjustment
To set a talent's level manually, use the command:/scoreboard players set [player_name] ttm.[talent]_level [value]
Example:
/scoreboard players set @s ttm.swords_level 100
to set Swords level to 100.
